Wedding under the Steeple’s

Outdoor Weddings - Emery’s Mountain View

Since 1995 Emery’s has become a popular site for outdoor weddings as the panoramic views of the Rocky Mountain and Purcell Mountain Ranges are a perfect backdrop. The property is situated on a benchland between Wild Horse Creek, a slough and the railway. The natural beauty of the mountains, trees, cliffs and meadow is enhanced by the gardens and flowering shrubs from May until the first frost.Flowers

Occasionally a wedding may have some uninvited guests such as a deer, a moose or an eagle. Robins, blackbirds will often amuse and serenade the guests. Ravens and crows love to voice their opinions.

Brides enter the marriage area from the main house, either over a small bridge or through a vine covered gazebo. The aisle is through flowerbeds and small trees.

FlowerssThe wedding patio, vine-covered arch, and flowerbed are framed by the Steeples and Fisher Peak. To the south is Mount Baker and the Kootenay River.

Emery’s must be seen to be appreciated.
